Boho Balance is a holistic therapy practice offering calming, restorative treatments designed to support your overall wellbeing. Sessions focus on relaxation, stress relief, and helping you feel more balanced in mind, body, and energy.
At Boho Balance, you can choose from a range of holistic treatments, including Reiki, Chakrascension™, Indian Head Massage, Foot Reflexology, and Ear Candling. Each therapy is designed to help you unwind, release tension, and restore inner calm.
A Reiki session is a gentle energy healing treatment where the practitioner channels universal life force energy to support relaxation and wellbeing. You remain fully clothed, lying or seated comfortably while the treatment helps encourage balance and calm.
No experience is needed. All treatments are suitable for beginners. Everything will be explained before your session so you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout.
Your first session includes a short consultation so your treatment can be tailored to your needs. You’ll then be guided through your chosen therapy in a calm, supportive environment designed to help you fully switch off and relax.
Chakrascension™ is an energy therapy that works with the body’s chakra system to help balance and align your energy centres. It is a gentle, non-contact treatment focused on deep relaxation and personal wellbeing.
Indian Head Massage is a deeply relaxing treatment focusing on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp, arms and face. It helps relieve tension, improve circulation, and promote a sense of calm and clarity.
Treatment lengths vary depending on the service and package you choose. Sessions typically range from 45 minutes to around 90 minutes, including consultation and relaxation time.
Boho Balance is based at The Studios in Wellington, Telford, Shropshire. It is a peaceful treatment setting where clients can unwind away from daily stress. Full location details and directions are available on the contact page of the website.

Clients often feel deeply relaxed, lighter, and calmer after a session. Some people also notice improved sleep, reduced stress, and a clearer mind. Everyone responds differently, and benefits may build over time.
This depends on your individual goals. Some people come for a one-off relaxation session, while others choose regular treatments for ongoing stress support or emotional wellbeing.
Many clients use holistic therapies to help manage stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. While results vary, treatments are designed to support relaxation and help calm the nervous system. They have certainly helped me personally and changed my whole lifestyle in a very positive way.
No special preparation is needed. It’s best to wear comfortable clothing and arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in before your session begins. If you are having an Indian Head Massage, Ear Candling or Reflexology, you will be asked to complete an online Microsoft Form prior to your appointment to ensure the treatment is suitable for you with any medical needs you may have.
It’s recommended to take it easy after your session, drink plenty of water, and allow yourself time to rest. This helps your body fully integrate the effects of the treatment.
Some therapies may need to be adapted or avoided during pregnancy. Please mention this when booking so your session can be tailored safely to your needs.

Boho Balance offers a calm, intuitive and personalised approach to holistic therapy, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can fully relax, reset, and reconnect with themselves.
My work is shaped by my own lived experience. Having worked as a middle leader and teacher in education, I understand the pressures of responsibility, emotional labour, and the constant demand to support others. I’ve experienced first-hand how this can lead to stress, overwhelm, and anxiety, even while continuing to function in a busy professional role.
This personal journey is what first drew me to holistic therapy and ultimately inspired me to retrain and create Boho Balance. It’s also what underpins my approach with every client.
Because of this background, I work with a strong sense of empathy and awareness of how individual stress shows up in different ways. Every treatment is adapted to the person in front of me, rather than following a one-size-fits-all method.
Whether a client is seeking deep relaxation, emotional release, or simply a quiet pause from a busy life, my focus is on holding a grounded, nurturing space that supports both mind and body.
At Boho Balance, care is personal, considered, and rooted in real understanding of burnout and overwhelm — helping each client feel genuinely supported and restored.
There is free parking directly outside The Studios or on road parking on Mansell Road. Please note, Mansell Road is one-way and you are able to turn down from Haygate Road (almost opposite the entrance of Wellington Cemetery on Linden Avenue.
No. Many clients come with no prior belief system. The most important factor is your willingness to relax and receive the treatment in a calm environment.
Holistic therapies at Boho Balance are primarily designed for adults, where treatments can be fully tailored to support relaxation, stress relief, and overall wellbeing in a safe and comfortable way.
Some gentle therapies may be suitable for older children or teenagers, but this depends on the individual, their needs, and the specific treatment. If a younger client is considered, sessions are always adapted appropriately, require parental or guardian consent and a chaperone is required to be present during the treatment.
For added reassurance, I am DBS checked, and client safety and safeguarding are always a priority in my practice. I was previously Head of RS, PSHE, and SRE at a school in Telford, and I continue to undertake occasional supply teaching, meaning my DBS certification is kept fully up to date at all times.
If you’re unsure whether a treatment would be suitable for your child, you’re welcome to get in touch beforehand so we can discuss it and ensure the most appropriate and safe approach.
